The incredibly striking front-and-back red tiger finish on this unique Gibson SG Standard is made by first painting the heavily flamed maple top and back black, rubbing them out so the denser bands emerge clean, then applying a hot red trans finish. The mahogany core is heavily routed for extreme semi-hollow resonance, which brings out the upper harmonics the way no solidbody can. This is the only one that will ever be built, and it's incredibly light and lively to play. Gold hardware, bound ebony fretboard without dots (except on the side), 5-ply head binding, and mother-of-pearl headstock inlay make it enchanting to gaze upon. Bold humbuckers give it powerful punch to match its overwhelming looks.
