    SG Melody Maker routed for a P-90. It’s basically a Junior now. They used to be dirt cheap used because the original single coil pickup(s) were lower output and less desirable to the masses.

    Gibson price increase for 2023? Anyone heard?

    They jacked the Standard $400 in late ‘21, post bankruptcy and pandemic shutdown. That was nearly 30%. They haven’t raised the Junior yet. They’ll probably leave the higher prices alone and raise the lower ones. Strategy, they don’t want to raise everything at once.

    The lower button used to eventually dig a hole into the hard case padding before newer cases with a gap in the lower button area. They ship new with a foam rubber plug in that area. There still isn’t much room there but I guess the body would take most of the force in a drop versus the older...

    I had a PRS SE Singlecut, maybe 10 yrs ago, and it was a good one. I sold it for a 02-03 SG Special Faded with crescent moon inlays and ebony board.
