I think HIPSHOT packed the wrong screws. I even took off the washers and the screw wouldn't meet. I'l call them tomorrow.

Ok, I ordered these. maybe I'm an idiot, but the screws won't tighten all the way. Do you leave Grover washers on? I have 2017 stock Grovers from Gibson. Also, a couple of the Grover buttons are stuck on. WD40? These things should go on by themselves. I just don' want to manhandle it too much...

Yes round, and BIG. LOL. But I solved the problem by jiggling the switch around from backside. Thx for your response.

I just got a 2017 SG Standard, and it came with the SG TRC. I wonder why yours shipped without it?

I just got a new SG Standard T from last year, and really love the look of the new Kluson Revolution 19:1 tuners. But they make like 2 or 3 different kinds of 3+3s. The G-mount, etc... Does anyone have these yet on this model? Appreciated.

The harness kit I'm getting has switchcraft, orange drop caps, and 500K pots. I just saw where the new HP SG's are getting push/pulls with coil splitting and out of phase, just like the LP's of 2016.

Found a decent deal on Reverb for a set of Duncans, SH-4 and a 4-conductor version of the neck '59. I'll do some more digging this week. I do like the Burstbucker Pros though, my brother just got a brand new 2016 Paul Standard and it sounds amazing, both pups are coil tapped and one pot does...

Hi, new member. Got a deal on body/neck SG Standard. Was thinking of Duncan JB in bridge, and either Gibson 57, Burstbucker Pro, or Bare Knuckle Stormy Monday in neck. HOWEVER, I'm going to get a harness with push /pull pots to make both pups single coil/HB. Any thoughts? I play mostly vintage...
