Well, I have to respectfully disagree. Over time nickel will age/oxidize/darken if you don't keep it clean/polished. Chome won't change much and can handle fingerprints better. Don't get me wrong, I like the looks of nickel, just too much of a difference for me on my guitar. I want chrome...

Well, I got the pickup. It was advertised as chrome. Turned out to be nickel. Doesn't match my hardware. Anybody interested in it? Roger
