Hey everyone, does anybody know if the necks on the SG special faded from 2002-2010 were made of maple or mahogany? It seems clear that they were made of maple from 2011 onward, but I'm finding conflicting information about the previous years. Some online ads say mahogany and some say maple, even when looking at the same model from the same year. I'm looking for a stripped down SG with dot inlays that has a mahogany neck and rounded profile. The current tribute series is really nice but I prefer a mahogany neck. Thanks
