I am bringing my mystery SG to the experts. I have no idea what I have here. There are no head stock markings but there is a serial number visible in the pictures. This is an ebay purchase from someone who said the original owner was a collector, that the guitar sat in storage for quite a while, and that they thought the guitar was from the 80's. Any info or direction would be greatly appreciated. 20220123_124852.jpg 20220123_124928.jpg 20220123_124945.jpg 20220123_124950.jpg .

To my eyes, it looks as if you have the 73-75 Matsumoku made Aria 1982, without the trem. I think that particular model was the 1922. The bridge, serial number plate, 3 screw pickup adjustment, and rounded corner inlays are pretty much identical to my 73. Yours is unbranded, which means it was meant for a distributor, call it "Bob's", and would have been silkscreened with Bob's logo upon reaching the warehouse. Quite common in the early 70's.

Hey, Thanks so much for the info. Are these the infamous "lawsuit" guitars? And is there a resource to put a value on these guitars? Thank you again.
