I dropped it off at Atomic guitars in Peoria about eight miles from me and was assured that is was a simple fix especially where it snapped off. I thought the opposite. Should be ready by the end of the month and quite possibly earlier. I'm in a happy place now. Thanks everyone
Glad you are getting it fixed up. It was sad hearing that.

And don't forget to post pictures @Kevinthequick when you get it.

The other day my gator frameworks gave out and destroyed my 3 month old 2021 SG standard I loved especially since I put 57 classic/plus set. To me the break looks beyond fixable but I have no knowledge on this.

I had my back turned about ten feet away from the guitar and stand and heard a snap! Right down on a hard wood floor. I'm in Phoenix so if anyone knows an expert I'd be grateful. This is a terrible first post but thank you.

Here's an update

That looks great....luckily sometimes the worse looking break, the better the fix. Glad it worked out!

Wow that looks great.

My '76 SG face planted on a slate floor many years ago when someone knocked it from behind while it was sitting in a guitar stand. Lucky for me that It had Grover tuners. The posts hit the floor squarely and the backs popped off of them. Miraculously there was no damage or any cracks on the headstock as a result of the fall!
