Back in January just before my birthday, I was shopping for a 1979 LP STD I found up in NY State from a seller on Reverb.
I had a buddy go to check it out ( about a 3 hour round trip for him) As he was en route, they freaking sold it out from under me despite me asking the boss man to tell me the out the door price to get it to me here in Md. over the weekend a day or so before the Monday I had my buddy go.

So, instead of getting that sweet unmodified LP, I got back up in the saddle and located a slightly more expensive replacement and negotiated the sale of this.

Here is the one that replaced my original very first guitar ever, checking all the right boxes etc except for being Tobacco Burst instead of BLACK like my first guitar was.

Ssparky,

The old original Schaller needed new saddles which were chewed up some from previous owners.
If I wanted to play the guitar asap, it was faster and cheaper to buy a new bridge than to find new saddles at this point. I got my new KLUSON USA one off ebay user sporthitech and believe it or not, I did not even need to adjust the intonation. $28. How could I lose?
