Hey guys
Its been a long while since I posted here...
Originally in 2018 i asked for advice on moving from P90s to Humbuckers....seen below
www.everythingsg.com
So i finally did it.
I bought a pair of Burstbuckers in Nickel, bought a genuine Nickel ABR1 bridge and a new scratch plate and got to work....
I also bought an ebay gibson quick connect wiring harness too, turns out my 2016 SG has the PCB curcuit board.
The results are fabulous, incredible and it is EXACTLY what I wanted....
I had to cut away about 6mm on the inside of the P90 cavity to accomodate the neck pickup, but apart from that everything went smooth AND i have the easy option of switching out the old scratchplate now which still has the P90s in it!
The ONLY thing is on the bridge position the pickup sounds a little weaker than the neck, my guess is the neck has a 500k pot and the bridge has a 250k or 300k pot (not sure what the standard P90 SG has) Either way, ill be playing this now a while lot more! Thanks for the Input fellas!

P90s to Humbuckers?
Hey guys I'm real new here so apologies if this has been posted many times. I have a 2016 Gibson SG Standard with P90s which I love. However it just doesnt LOOK right.. I know silly but when sitting side by side with my Les Paul it looks off. Anyways I'd like to change the batwing pickguard...
