If anyone knows anything about these cherry red Burny RSG-70 customs please share your info here. This guitar is the only example in cherry red that I’ve seen pictures of online and it’s used as a reference photo on Solid Guitar Fandom. Solid Guitar Fandom lists cherry red as an option in 1989, with an s diamond headstock inlay, but the 1989 Fernandes catalog only lists black and white as options and I’ve never seen a picture of a cherry red 1989 RSG-70/75 custom so I’m not sure what their references were for that claim. That said, there is at least one post on this forum, dating back years before Solid Guitar Fandom added this guitar as a reference photo on the Burny RSG page, that mentions these Burny RSG 61s being made with a red finish so Solid Guitar Fandom isn’t the only source claiming they exist. I haven’t seen any others though so I’m curious about whether or not this one might be a prototype or a off catalog custom order.

Stats wise this seems to weigh 2.9 kg and have a two piece body, one piece neck, four ply pick guard, gotoh tuners, and 3 VH-3 pickups.

For the RSG-70 63? I’m only seeing the CR column on page 87 checked for the TV-55, SG-55, RLJ-80 58, RSG-75 63, RSG-75 69, RSA-70 60, and RSA-100 60 models.

Can’t recall if these were made in the same factory or not, but if it’s anywhere near as good as my buddy’s ‘78 Greco (it came to me for a new nut recently) it’ll be an absolute cracker!

You have to look at page 73 where it's pictured. In the specs listed there, it says "CR, BL, H".
