I have been after a cheap SG for a while now and picked this one up yesterday. Its seen a bit of life and has a few dings and scrapes but I can't explain it, I was just attracted to it.

Anyway, its mine now and I cleaned it up last night and put a nice set of EB Super Slinkys on it. I played it through BIAS FX2 and a couple of patches distort and sound awful no matter what pickup I select whil the majority sound fine. never had that before and have no idea why??

What do you think of my new love ha.

Cheers
Chris

Good deal and it looks like a more accurate upper horn than the new version.
Congrats!

Nice score
This is old one, not the offset new with the sharp end of the frets and all wonky

Have no idea what pickups are these, stock were wilkinson pickups and also the stock hardware was wilkinson
Previous owner probably swapped it

It sounds awful maybe because its not set correctly... The nut on these guitars is awful
If you will switch the hardware to Gotoh (or anyhtingof more quality) and pickups to some better ones and get the guitar properly set Its gonna be amazing
