Looks like they are fake Gibsons (since none of them show the front of the open book headstock) so if that is your interest, I don't think this is the forum for you..

The "Naughty Boy" is its own brand from China, with a different headstock shape then a Gibby, and it's own logo. Problem is, do you want to spend the price of it plus, to get it playable? Think of every part on it as cheap garbage, and the fret work done by blind drunk monkey. QC is NOT high on the list.

The ones on ebay didn't show the front and had the same shape. "Made in Usa"... s-l1600.jpg

London, new hearing aid project - exciting
While there are still a couple of factories in China that produce junk, they are disappearing fast for good reason. The vast majority are equipped with the very best CNC machines and produce guitars of a quality that is rarely matched in the west.

I am not going to argue about the CNC process. I have a few MIC guitars, and they are wonderful. BUT they were built for a MAIN known company. (Ibanez and Eastman.) My main point was that the PARTS were most likely garbage in these no name brands.

And a few do have the "Zewui" headstock design, which looks a LOT like an Ibanez one.

So what other guitar brand doesn't show their headstock, and if so, why?

My Naughty Boy Flying V, the Schenker one, has a great body and neck, and, so far, the frets haven't needed any work.

That having been said, the half black / half white pickguard was half a black one secured to half a white one with a bit of masking tape.

I bought it knowing full well I would be junking everything except the woody parts because my painting skills are woeful.

I fitted Dean "Michael Schenker" pickups, Grover tuners and a Guyker roller bridge, plus a TusqXL nut and my own control electronics. Nothing on mine carries a Gibson logo, and I will never try and pass it off as the real deal.

As an alternative to buying a kit and having to glue in the neck - and get it straight - or having to paint it yourself, I'd say go for it. As a finished guitar, buy an Epiphone instead.
