Mostly because I am annoyed at accidentally moving the bridge's thumbweels every time I change strings on my 2018 SG Special, then screwing up my action setting, I decided to upgrade my bridge to a Faber E-Z Lock (I already had the Tone Lock for the tailpiece since quite a while, as I dropped tailpieces a couple of time on my guitars with TOM).

I don't know if the tone/sustain improved, as advertised - and it wasn't my goal -, but I know that it makes string changing a breeze ! No need to check my setup again after. The locking system is actually pretty smart and quite better than the typical "allen screw against the posts" system found on a lot of aftermarket bridge.

Install was also a breeze...

Nashville.

You can have more vibrations and a better sustain with iNsert™ conversion posts :

4mm diameter for Nashville and ABR-N bridges.

6/32" threated conversion posts for ABR-1 and ABR-H bridges.

I use 6/32" threated Faber iNsert™ conversion posts with a Gibson ABR-1 bridge, this setup is very close to a stock ABR-1 Gibson, a great upgrade.

I saw/heard about these inserts... Not sure I "need" them though. I am perfectly happy with my SG tone, and with a locked TOM.
