I have just registered and would like to say hello. I have been playing since the early '70s. I work in IT for a living, but music has always been in my life. I love rock, blues, country, jazz and just about anything else that has creative picking and beautiful melodies.
Over the years, I have added many guitars to my harem. I am not a collecter, per se, but I do like all kinds of guitars and string instruments. I primarily like Gibsons and Fenders. I am particularly fond of Stratocasters, but I have always loved SGs since I first played one in the '70s. I also love Teles, Les Pauls and my ES335.

I am not in a band, but would love to be if I could get the time.

I have been reading the forum off and on for some time and think that it is a great place.
