Does anyone know what year Gibson stopped using the white, I think they are called tulip tuners on the SG Standard? The Grovers on the new standards are nice but I personally like the ones that are used on the new 61 Standard.
Thanks

I know that headstock. 2015 Les Paul Junior. 100th anniversary.

2015 SG Standard, a very good guitar, awesome.
Nobody wanted to buy rhis 2015 model because there is a Les Paul signature on the headstock, so I bought it new for less than 900 €uros.
The KLUSON Revolution are per-fect on a modern Gibson SG, very light weight, high ratio 1/19 and knobs are very smooth.
For a vintage or a reissue I prefer the SCHALLER G tuners with double ring knobs.

No kidding I could have sworn that was a Les Paul Junior. That Les Paul would not have bothered me. And I prefer to buy a guitar with the sticker. Then I know the head stock was not broken.

I got a set of them on a 2019 SG Original. Its a Standard really and IDK why GIBSON USA called it an Original as it is as much a STANDARD as any SG Standard I've ever seen !
