That SG looks like its ORANGE to me.
The SG Gary Rossington is a Custom Shop Signature model aged by Tom Murphy, that' s why it looks washed cherry / orange :

WOULD THAT BE WITH OR WITHOUT CHEMICAL INDUCEMENT ? BWAH HAHAAHA !Next up, blue turns green and white turns yellow.
I' d like to have an Oxblood SG
That looks like one of the CME SG's like mine. I absolutely love mine. My lady dubbed it "the Beaut" . ...and I love to post pics of it....
It's the same color but with a different name and a color variation. AKA a different color. Heritage cherry is a full bright red, vintage cherry is more brownish and washed out looking. I have owned both at the same time, and have owned several of each. If you look at the current SG Standard and 61 side by side, they are definitely different colors. It's the same color, they just changed the name. There has always been variation in how red or orange Heritage Cherry is, and the same seems to be true for "Vintage Cherry".

EDIT: I'm talking about the current lineup, 2019-present. That seems to be what the OP is talking about. I don't know what Gibson has done regarding these colors in the past.
Again, there is color variation in every finish Gibson does. Here is a 1993 SG Standard in "Heritage Cherry":

And a 2008 Standard in the same "Heritage Cherry"

and that kind of variation has not changed post-2019.
Here's a 2020 Standard in a washed out looking "Heritage Cherry":

And here's a 2020 Standard '61 in a particularly dark and saturated "Vintage Cherry":
