A while back I mentioned about possibly moving and the hassle of worrying about my equipment!Couple of jokes were made about it, and you know who you are, but I held my wind because of this future post!
There's one place to go if you need to protect your investment...... and it's an affordable alternative to loosing your gear.
"And at FULL replacement value"
Ok. This place insures for ALL RISK!
And at agreed valuation! No BS, try and beat that!
-Dishonesty, or being stolen under ALL circumstances
-Transit, moving to and from gigs, shows, rehersals, whatever
-worldwide coverage, when Ozzy calls for us to fill in for a drunken Zack!
-Works in progress, restorations
-Shop coverage-your shop and others left for repairs
-Shipment, complete ins. against shipping damage to another location
-DEVALUATION!- damage by accidents that cause a loss of value!!!!!! Get that one!
-Unattended auto coverage, for you boneheads who leave your Ax in the car!
You get the idea! But it's a hassle because you have to have and submit detailed pics for proof and have an appraisal from a bona fide instrument dealer..........
What the hell else could you ask for? So if I'm ripped and manage to miss, unlikely, with the Glock 9mm or then the scope'd 22-250 well I still have recourse.....
Enough of that! Here's a link to who I use and you should to if your so inclined;

The Voxman is right.
INSURANCE is paramount. But KNOW what kind
of coverage you're buying. You could be covered but
for only pennies on the dollar.
Pick your insurance agent's brain. Take a copy of
Voxman's thread with you.
i'd use the Glock .45 cal with talons myself
or the streetsweeper
or the folder AK-47 with AP/I rounds
or if that fails, the barrett .50 cal with exploding tips
if you do make it to your wheels.Guitars will get you through times of no money
better than money will get you through times of
no guitars!
